An explanation for not being able to book cash or cash and miles flights to Cuba would be nice
Just noticed on my itinerary receipt it says SkyMiles rather than Flying Club next to Flying Club number, are the programs about to be merged?
Ooo guessing is fun...
I know, I know... Purple Boarding Passes are coming back?!

Third daily rotation to LAX (May-Aug) is being reported elsewhere. Flight numbers VS141/2, 1300 departure from LHR.
EDIT - already available to book!
EDIT 2 - I'm told DL are taking over the earlier of the two VS ATL rotations.

Showing as bookable as far as 24/10/17 so would guess it finishes with the clock changes on 28th

Announced earlier this year.
All in all, makes the west coast much easier to get to along with 2x SFO and 1x SEA.
Thanks

Ah ok, my bad. Just the additional LAX that's new then as far as we know. Which gives VS the most daily London-LA flights of any airline, albeit BA have more capacity with their A380s.
But if they're not giving anything up, where's the slot at LHR coming from?
Detroit?
The slot used by the 2nd MIA flight in winter?

Detroit's staying isn't it, just on DL metal instead of VS.
So yes maybe the winter MIA although that leaves around 0930 and the new LAX goes at 1300.

At the moment only flights around 13:00 is VS250 and VS5. The 5 is still showing as 13:00 so possibly a slot swap with Delta somewhere else.
Thanks

Hi Richie,
Do you actually know some info about to be released? If so, why not post it up? or is this yet another of the myriad rumours of 'an important announcement' flying between departments in Crawley towers?
There are so many of those at the moment given the amount of complaints they have received from the public on their new website and the changes to flying club. Not unlike Game of Thrones, the people at the top have adopted the ethos and myth of 'something' better always being around the corner.. A shame really
There's probably an embargo on the release of the info contained within the announcement until tomorrow.
Most companies do it these days for press releases, the one I work for does and we are told we can say there will be an announcement, but just not what's in it until the embargo has been lifted at the designated time.

Zzzzzz. In the light of "that" other change I was hoping it would be something related to that.
It was like that when I got here, Sir!
So capacity wise it's pretty much backbto what they had with 1 x 747 and 1x 346 is it not?

It's actually more:
LHR744 + 346 ~ 675 seats
3 x 789's ~ 792 seats
